neurz
Neurz is an electronic project born in 2005 in Turin, the italian motorcity, in the long shadows of an Olympic Winter.
Neurz is King Vigor (Igor Toniazzo) and Urz (Enrico Vaudet). It is a non-musicians duo based on a great passion for sound and video.
The duo fascinated by experimentation, mixture of sound and image and by hypnotic ambient-glitch’s sonorities, works with the mixture of new noises and old sounds. It combines synthesizers with guitars and drum machines in a musical exchange that often takes place on the web, a real-virtual meeting place suitable for teamwork featuring other musicians.
In 2005 the duo released the soundtrack to “OLIM”, a short film directed by Francesco Lattarulo, which was presented at the TORINO FILM FESTIVAL (in the “Spazio Torino” section). Neurz is currently working with the cultural association “La Lokomotiva” and with Senso Doppio, an experimental company of players, on the making of a soundtracks for short films and documentaries.
