I generally use Acid Music Studio 7 or 8 (just got 8 and it’s buggy). I also use Cubase SX 3 and sometimes 4. I am in the process of remixing and mastering. I also putting together music through loops. I prefer writing my own music, but sometimes I need a break. I master all my music and mixes through iZotope Ozone 4. I had previously used Cubase SX 3 to master, but the mastering tools are far too cumbersome, unwieldy and limited. Not to mention, the developers kept changing them with each new release.
iZotope Ozone 4 is the best mastering tool I’ve found, bar none. It can be a bit ungainly at times, but once you learn to tame it, it’s relatively easy to create sparkling, vibrant, radio-friendly results. I now use Acid Music Studio and Ozone 4 to mix and master all my tracks.
