Genesis of the song

Started as an exercise to remaster A Scene Before the Fire by Jeris.

There is a synth bass track provided by Jeris that sounded like the bass line in the main track, so I decided to fool around with it by converting the audio to a MIDI track and trying different soft synth sounds. Settled on synth guitar plugin, Slayer.

No longer a remastering exercise, decided to look for some more percussion to add drive. While auditioning percussion sounds, tried some Polynesian male voices which seemed to complete the remix.
