This fusion remix started with converting Bob’s bass line into a non rhythmical MIDI line. Assigned the MIDI line to three synths: a Poizone bass tone, a Sytrus ACID sequence rhythm, and a Slayer guitar synth routed through Gross Beat.
Next, routed Bob’s bass through a compressor & distortion pedal plugin then though Gross Beat forcing the instrument to play on the up beat like a bouncy rhythm guitar.
Added Bob’s acoustic guitar and some House drums including and Emergence Loops 4 & 7 by Bigbonobo and timbales (because they cut through the busy House drums).
Added Snowflake to the intro and outro, and Susan to the chorus with Bob. Last step, recorded ElRon XChile jammin’ like he’s in Atlanta … or maybe Austin.
