This is my attempt to add some interest to the song. The modifications include: adding some subtle strings and soft cymbals to the beginning and middle, sprinkling in some skittery drum loops, bringing the noise in waves with a lot of reverb-soaked dub effects, putting clips of Professor Liang Tsai-Ping’s “Wild Geese Alighting On The Sandy Shore” in like glitches, and adding violin sampled from the Golden Gate Gypsy Orchestra’s “Joshua’s Yiddishe Momme” near the end. I’m interested to hear what you think…especially if anyone has heard the original.
