Just been watching Pete Waterman’s Christmas concert at the O2. Always felt it a bit of a shame that Pete and co seemed to become obsessed with “white bread” entertainment, as shame because the tracks they did with a bit of a meaning, such as The Specials’ Ghost Town and Eternal’s Just A Step From Heaven were superb- who says you can’t make a great pop song with real lyrical meaning- just look a John Lennon’s Imagine!

Loved the lyrics for this song, which might not be seasonal as such, but I’ve tried to make it an uplifting, inspiration arrangement full of love and seasonal cheer, and a good measure of cheese for fun. All parts are included for sampling bliss.

I’m working at the moment on trying to mix dubstep-ish beats with pure, happy pop- sort of a pet project. Anyway, hope you enjoy and that it raises a few smiles!
