For a few years here in the UK in the early 1990s, acid house had straddled dance, pop, techno, hip hop and r&b , lead by acts such as SL2, Prodigy, Utah Saints and KLF. American producers such as Todd Terry, Steve “silk” Hurley and Clivilles & Cole put their own slant on the house story. I’m making it my mission in life to make dance music interesting again!
