When I dream, I imagine a world where all are welcome and embraced.

I have a dream.

I took parts of the amazing poem on the Statue of Liberty by Emma Lazarus, with only minor embellishment, and set it to music. It made me emotional.

The Golden Door

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send them to me, the homeless

I lift my lamp beside the golden door
