Sunday I had a break through watching the Royal Tenenbaums…of all things. Why haven’t I put out an album in seven years? (Gwyneth Paltrow’s character painfully reminded me of this).

I’ve been trying to do this album, called Open, for years. I’ve been paralyzed by it. Afraid of it, frankly.

So enough excuses. Thanks to Margot Tenenbaum, here’s the first song from Open. This is the cleanest pella I’ve ever uploaded :)

Open will be a three part album - The Songs, The Remixes, The Production. There are 12 songs and I hope to record one a week (just pella, backing vox & piano). I’m writing this here because I know I won’t do it unless I write it here.

I can only hope and imagine this song will expand from here, with you all.
