Loveshadow’s Data In Data Out is one inspiration for this remix. I’ve been wanting to do a remix using some of the samples culled from the starter packs as well as some of the miscellaneous samples I’ve peeped from other remixes. After diggin up some stuff from Magnatune a couple weeks ago and wanting to start another remix not in the the same vocal vein I picked KCentric’s Hip Hop Renaissance Man as the basis (textually) for this piece, though I used only specific snippets. I also tried not to do too much manipulation of the original samples in order to see what I could quickly accomplish. I could’ve probably stirred the pot a bit more, but thought, again, the stew would get too muddy. This one is 100% sampled.
