Here’s a rough scratch track and even rougher mix I did to construct Sassygal’s vocal “its over now”.
The backing here was really just a few lazy chord progressions on the rhodes to keep her in key as she sung. The melody and the lyrics came very quickly against these simple chords.
We’ve written a lot of songs lately, so I’ll get the downtempo Anne Murrayish ones out of the way first as we head towards Death Metal. lol
