The drive to work
robwalkerpoet
When I was teaching I had the most amazing drive to work. No traffic lights - a twenty minute winding route across a ridge of the Mt Lofty Ranges, then skirting the ancient Onkaparinga Valley down into the southern suburbs of Adelaide. I wrote this poem in my final year at that school.
It was published last year in a chapbook Policies & Procedures (Garron Press)
