I’m especially grateful for the extra week to complete this remix,
as I spent nine days in hospital recovering from pneumonia.
That unexpected pause gave me the time I needed to return with fresh ears and finish the journey.

This is my second Secret Mixter collaboration with musikpirat.
The first was Waking Dreams Secret Mixter back in September 2022, and it’s a pleasure to revisit
this creative partnership.

For Mixtermorphosis, I drew from four different musikpirat tracks, each opening new pathways
and leading the remix somewhere I hadn’t anticipated. I wove them together with elements of my own,
using filtering, polyrhythms, layered textures, pitch-shifting, and other sonic transformations
to shape a new musical landscape.

My heartfelt thanks once again to musikpirat. It’s been a privilege to explore your music,
reshape it, and let it inspire another journey.
