Some of us are great at it. Spewing forth convincing tales to our enraptured audience or to our dear ones, watching as like dried up sponges they soak up every word, savouring it without question. Others just cannot get a few words out before the incredulous listeners start to take on those “yeh! yeh! Yeh! looks and turn off their auditory canals.
Some of the time a lie will cause little damage but at others it can destroy the very things we hold dear.
But where would we be as humans without the ability to lie?
