Once upon a time in a land far away
lived a beautiful girl, much like you
her heart it was said was purer than gold
her soul was as clean as snow

And happy were they that lived in her world
For she kept all the darkness at bay
but into this kingdom came evil and pain
and turned our princess to stone

Castle and dragons and princesses fair
Apples and ogres and bears
These are the tales of magic and woe
told in storybook stories of old

Many yars passed but the darkness remained
And tears were shed everyday
‘Til one day came a price from across the sea
And with his true loves kiss she was freed

The spell had been broken and the sun came out
he married the princess that day
The king and the queen and the villager cried
The lived happily ever after they say
