This is a reckoning
The only way to not see the truth

Divisions amplified to control us
To distract us from the only division
That has ever mattered
Top, bottom
Upper, lower
Nobility, peasants
Overlords, serfs

Why are we protecting the wealthiest elite
By pretended that their association with a
Violent child rapist and human trafficker
Is no indication of their character?
You are the company you keep

We the people has been a fantasy
Since it’s conception
We were conditioned to believe the promise
And fuel ourselves with the hope of justice
Ignoring, over and over and over again, ignoring
The violence and the lies
Allowing the story to be controlled
By those with the most financial pull
As they extract everything good
As they use and abuse us all

The most corrupt and violent nation ever to exist
And we’re all complicit
We believed the story
And we kept the company
