Based on some previous personal history I came up with this musical concept of a tin-man; the harsher, metallic sounds represent the ‘tin’ or (supposedly) unfeeling exterior of a person and the softer, smooth sounds reflect the ‘tears’ or emotional interior. The analogy is not unique but I think it’s timeless.
