It started with a hi hat pattern, shuffle underneath, bass line that suggested a chord progression, and went from there.

The track intended to evoke a jazzy kind of vibe, but I don’t feel good about calling what I make jazz. It’s just not my background. This is post-rock with a jazz aesthetic.
And that’s not me putting it down. Post-rock is a big part of my musical vocabulary.
