This is not music… I repeat, this is not music. Just wanted to get that out of the way before someone points out to me that this non-musical track doesn’t have any musical qualities.

This is a sonic environment, an attempt to bend a particular sound into an atmosphere or a sense of space, derived entirely from MCJB saying the word “mine.”

Initially, I was going to do the whole thing musique concrete style, using only a destructive editor, but I eventually got frustrated with it and exported my noise into Live5, for some extra processing and improvisation.
