There’s no real significance to the title, there just happened to be a book of short stories on my desk.

Initially, there was going to be a much greater emphasis on the guitar in this track, and it’s rather unfortunate that it got buried. The reason being that as more and more stuff got added, the guitar began to clash sonically with the other instruments.

I’ve been playing a lot of games lately, and was trying to create something a little more evocative of that kind of feeling. Something that just exists in the back while the mind is busy with more important matters. It was really only supposed to be very short, but it didn’t turn out that way, oh well, that’s what alternate versions are for.
