I love the July piece and yet I do not feel I can give it real justice. This remix takes a different approach. The field recordings are from the Heard Natural Science Center, Fairview, Texas; the Dawson Daffodil Farm, Camden, Arkansas, and my own chimney bottom in Allen, Texas. The percussion synth line samples from my African cowry shell shaker, my plastic American egg shaker, and my Peruvian nutshaker.
