I actually did this mix (the majority of it) well over a month ago (even before I had the pleasure of meeting CiggiBurns on her recent trip to LA).
The drumtrack is from the Fireproof Babies, but I think the actual track I used may have been removed from the site? The filename I have for it is: “Fireproof_Babies_-_Human_drums_1e.mp3” and it’s at about 100bpm, but I can’t find it anywhere so I’ve linked to a similar upload instead.
It’s quite a simple mix, really it’s only the start to one. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go with it, so it has sat stagnant. But it’s been popping into my head lately so I decided to polish it up a little bit and post what I got.
Just drums and vocals, very sparse. Even so, I think Ciggi’s beautiful voice, and the Babies’ cool rhythms make for an interesting (if ironically upbeat) track.
