Thank you, Emily, for your beautiful song, your beautiful voice, and your beautiful lyrics. I wanted to do an upbeat EDM/Pop version using just the vocal stems with my own backing, and I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of winter, snow, the cold, the light, and maybe a bit of mist here and there. And, of course, the dawning of Christmas.

Thanks also to the backing singers for doing such a wonderful job, and for allowing me to retune you, just a tad, to fit the new chords. :-)


And, Emily, I really look forward to remixing more of your work. And I really, really wish I had your wonderful talent at writing lyrical poetry. May you continue to shine.
