Ahhhh...That's Better
essesq
A remix in two parts. Part 1…unrelenting explosive guitar…Part 2…the calm after the storm.
The forces that be in the world have been throwing a lot of what are affectionately referred to as “challenges” my way lately so the aggression in Khidir’s overdriven guitars really spoke to me. Eventually one has to get over it however, hence part 2 :-).
I picked this track to work with because of it’s title and the notes that accompanied it. Khidir expressed some misgivings about it and I wanted to give it’s power and beauty a chance to shine.
The hardest parts of participating in this little game have been not being able to comment and recommend Khidir’s tracks for fear of giving myself away and not being able to realize the big ideas I had for his work due to the time constraints involved.
Thank you Khidir for your extraordinary music and Teru and company for putting this thing together.
