Dark Axe
essesq
My first mix for ccMixter. A spacy but dark trip to another side of the aural universe. Unsettling and un-nerving, I’ll leave the rest up to you.
If anyone can tell me what the tempo is I’ll add it later. I didn’t set one because honestly, I didn’t need to :-).
I am still very new to remixing so comments, criticism, ideas, offers of free samples or software are all welcome.
I work on a limited rig, one pc, a little usb controller keyboard, a handful of vstis and my headphones. I use Cubase LE for production.
I really like what I have seen of this community and that is why I seriously considered posting something here, so thank you all.
The Ending
It has been brought to my attention that my ending, ahem, needs attention. Now I could go home tonight and just fade it out or something but as it’s up here already and you guys are so creative I thought I’d try a different approach.
I am actively soliciting ideas for how to end this piece (along with instructions or a sound file so that I can make the idea a reality). There’s no prize for this just a mention on the next upload (which will be under a different name) and the warm fuzzy feeling of helping out a fellow remixer.
