This song was inspired by Mind Map That! For the recent Secret Mixter event, I was lucky enough to have her draw me. She did an awesome job, and I wanted to return the favor. What can I say, she is just one hip chick with a fun, quirky, eccentric sense of humor that rocks. If we were characters from Anne of Green Gables, I might say that we’re kindred spirits…

When composing this song in my head, I felt it would work well against a rocking ska track, a la Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Copperhead’s “The Girl Like You” was just what I was looking for.
