Party At The End Of Time
Andrew Wainwright
A song about everything working out in the end, despite the despair much of the world is in at the moment.
“God doesn’t promise an easy passage, but He guarantees a safe landing”
when the last chains of bondage have been broken free
and the ill gotten rich lose the profits of their crime
well if that takes me an eternity
it is worth it
for the party at the end of time
everybody’s got to start somewhere
everybody’s got to be a slave
everybody blindly follows orders
cos that’s the way that money’s made
but the easiest way to enslave a man
is tell him that he’s free
and fill his mind with ignorance
of the fake news on tv
yet mankind now is waking up
to see that it’s a show
it’s all bread and circuses
and that’s the way things go
and there’s nothing really wrong with working hard
if you feel you’re helping out
but if you’re building walls and prisons
it’s something we could do without
“God doesn’t promise an easy passage, but He guarantees a safe landing”
