I hum a solemn tune
in the mid to late afternoon
waking, walking, working
fast franchise food

lunch lasts all day
like anachronistic dinner
I nibble on the waste
I’m a driver, I’m a winner

the skunk like aroma
of coworker drama
smells like french fry-
high school dharma

like the quick dead rush
of a cigarette dumpster
slaving , serving, saving
worker amongst workers
