I had made the beat for another very short song (sub 30 seconds) but expanded it. I really wanted some vocals for it, so I looked through the a capellas and found “Pincer Move”. As soon as he started rapping, I knew it would be the perfect a capella for my beat. It reminded me so much of the dance songs during the 90s!
