Stanley Zawadzki left Poland in 1956 to come to Hollywood to be a star. His friends in the small village of Chudow had told him it was his destiny. He arrived full of hope but by 1998 when I met him he was driving tourist buses. Memories of fame and fortune long gone.

Thanks to Javolenus for providing some beautiful guitar. I have added piano and strings and a little guitar. The basic lyric was written sometime in 1999.
