A Movement Of Notes

Radioontheshelf

It has been suggested that the art of counterpoint singing was introduced by two tone deaf monks living on Caldey island off the coast of Wales. Tired of being continually harangued by their peers for singing out of tune they put forward the idea that it was intentional and they had given it the name of counterpoint.

This mix is not technically counterpoint as it involves on one side the music and on the other the voice. That said I quite enjoyed myself. To get the true experience from Emily’s vocal you need to go along to her page and listen to it as intended.

This will probably be my last mix of 2022 so I would like to thank the Mixter gang for all your music and inspiration over the year and offer you my best wishes for what may be ahead of us in 2023
