Why I Left For Boston
Radioontheshelf
At times like these many people start evaluating their lives. The fragility of life can make us look to take a different direction. In some cases that means leaving all the old behind and with it sometimes broken hearts
Could not resist Stefans beautiful music.
I hear the sound of breaking glass
As I turn to close the kitchen door
I know you feel my pain and loss
You always will I’m sure
And the coffee pot is cold to my touch
Your presence makes me realise
That coffee always took away
The taste of bitterness and old loves lies
And now I’m five miles from the door
That you closed to me you were so sure
That I was spent empty but cured
Cured of all my fascination
And you had charmed and drained all of my love
Removed my shield now I’m not so tough
That I can withstand your stoney stone cold touch
And that is why I leave for Boston
Could not resist Stefans beautiful music.
I hear the sound of breaking glass
As I turn to close the kitchen door
I know you feel my pain and loss
You always will I’m sure
And the coffee pot is cold to my touch
Your presence makes me realise
That coffee always took away
The taste of bitterness and old loves lies
And now I’m five miles from the door
That you closed to me you were so sure
That I was spent empty but cured
Cured of all my fascination
And you had charmed and drained all of my love
Removed my shield now I’m not so tough
That I can withstand your stoney stone cold touch
And that is why I leave for Boston
