2020 has shown the people of the world how fragile we really are. Over the years we have marched forward believing in our invincibility, our right to treat the earth any way we wanted. Now as nature has turned on us we see in all too real events the result of our actions. Floods, fires, famine, landslides, pollution and now Covid. It seems we are at a pivotal point in our evolution.
Many thanks to all those who have made it possible for my ego and me to continue down the musical Mixter path. Someone asked me why I bother to create music and put it up on the CCM site. The answer is simple. It is not about the final mix but the journey it took to get there.
Good luck to everyone in 2021 and keep safe.
Shadows dancing on the carousel
Darkened skies that might kiss and tell
Someones laughing as they run like hell
To catch a glimpse of the night skies
The boy is hungry hasn’t ate all day
Too busy gathering the things to play
A game of chances got in the way
Now he’s looking for her bright eyes
The tattooed priest has quit the scene
Replaced the drugs with old mens dreams
Squeezed each one or so it seems
Until we heard its loud cries
But you and I in fortunes path
All we do is cry and laugh
Can’t accept our day has passed
Still waiting for a suprise
So wipe the history from off your face
Keep marching onwards to some new place
Be carefull you’re not crushed in the race
Don’t listen to their dark lies
