Everyone's An Expert
Radioontheshelf
It seems everyone has an opinion on Covid. Who do we believe. The government, the scientists, the crazy people?
My grandfather said he’d seen it before
Lots of pestilence and two world wars
People in the streets with spots and sores
And kids with heads full of lice
At the time it was serious they all complained
They thought it would never get better again
But somehow they managed to put up with the pain
And eventually it turned out nice
So gird your loins and be prepared for every expert you ever heard
Everyone has something to say to help old Covid on its way
And the governments of the world agree to move ahead cautiously
There’s rhyme and reason on tv its amazing what we believe
Now John told Jane he’d found a cure
And he would share it with her for sure
But it might involve her removing her draws
She said she’d think it over
So John said he would wait and see
Which way she’d go and if it could be
A permanent cure for the disease
He would sell it to the masses
So gird your loins and be prepared for every expert you ever heard
Everyone has something to say to help old Covid on its way
And the governments of the world agree to move ahead cautiously
There’s rhyme and reason on tv its amazing what we believe
Now I’m the sort of man who likes to take a chance on the wild side
Moving forward taking care making sure I am prepared
For all the dangers there are out there, hidden in the open air
Ready to take up the task protected by my paper mask
