Whilst my musical tastes have been driven by melody and lyrics I found myself during the 70’s being drawn into the world of punk. It is now mostly represented by the Sex Pistols who in themselves were great but it was thanks to the wonderful John Graham Mellor later to be known as Joe Strummer and the Clash that made it the driving force that enabled so much great music to follow.

This is my ode for Joe.
