I decided to create a thematic Interstellar tune whoever my remix victim was.
I chose mwic’s Short Fiction midi files as the core of the tune. I chose the midi file as none of the vocals or samples had the Interstellar theme I was looking for. The midi file gave me the most flexibility since I could change the tempo and mood to fit the theme. Airtone did the same for the Shifting Season’s remix of 2017 using the same sample.
