Through The Edge (Pell)
PorchCat
Pell recording of the poetry accompanying the Through The Edge remix.
That taste in my mouth;
I’ll never get used to it.
The Sleep does weird things,
to a body,
to a person.
The thoughts of endless black,
the whispers of the void,
still linger in my ears,
and mind.
I see the haze.
The beautiful,
the glowing,
the galactic haze.
We are coming upon the stars now.
It is so disorientating,
the light, so distracting,
so blinding.
I need to think and breathe,
think and breathe.
There is all this gravity,
all this radiation,
all this light.
Planets and stars,
asteroids and comets,
strange webs of dark matter,
to the left and the right,
breath to breath,
night to light.
Here we go through the edge!
do I remember how to fly?
That taste in my mouth;
I’ll never get used to it.
The Sleep does weird things,
to a body,
to a person.
The thoughts of endless black,
the whispers of the void,
still linger in my ears,
and mind.
I see the haze.
The beautiful,
the glowing,
the galactic haze.
We are coming upon the stars now.
It is so disorientating,
the light, so distracting,
so blinding.
I need to think and breathe,
think and breathe.
There is all this gravity,
all this radiation,
all this light.
Planets and stars,
asteroids and comets,
strange webs of dark matter,
to the left and the right,
breath to breath,
night to light.
Here we go through the edge!
do I remember how to fly?
