About 3 weeks ago we had what the press called the worst snow for 18 years in the UK.

I was snowed in for two days. It was great :-)

I found this Chris Harvey Track during that time which i thought sounded very similar to Allan Greys main theme to the Powell /Pressburgers 1946 film, A Matter of Life and death, one of my favourite David Niven films.

I sang this little snowy melody to it whilst looking out of my window.

It went no further until today when i heard Anchors reading of the James Joyce poem The Dead and it all suddenly settled into place.

Whats more I have at last done a mix with a few more samples than 1 fished from the CC pool.

Note: Amended the mix on Lasswells idea for a lo fi vocal and fixed some compression issues on Anchors vocal. I have moved the original mix to a second file.
