Blackwaterside (Trad.)
Javolenus
Blackwaterside is a traditional folk song, made famous by the likes of Anne Briggs and Bert Jansch etc. Here’s an improvised version: I played 16-string lyre, hand-drum, and timbrel. Will add stems.
=====
That’s not the promise that you gave to me
When first you lay on my breast
You could make me believe with your lying tongue
That the sun rose in the west
