Angel Face:

I wanted to try out some old fashion like recorded stuff and from searching i stumbled up Admiral Bobs ‘Swinging for Home’ which had a very fine bassline to start with, and i saw he used samples of Stefan Kartenberg and i looked there and found the percussion samples from ‘Blues Rock Drums’, i don’t know how excactly i stumbled up on ASHWAN’s accapella but i think i saw it somewhere in their tracks as a source.

First i made a nice fitting track of it and then went on with degrading the quality of the sound with tape saturation and eq’s. Then i added the record crackle and there it was. :)

It was fun to explore this and to make it. I hope you like it.
