January melody was so beautiful and I felt I just needed to change chords to make it work a little differently from Doghouse Riley (my reference track for these vocals). My idea in the instrumentation was to start with synthetic sounds and freezing fxs, to give the idea of the icing cold in january, and then gradually shift, and free Tamara’s voice in a lush and loose melody, hot and wild, low and slow.
