Using spinningmerkaba’s bpm as a starting point, I experimented with a fast kick behind it, and thought his pella sounded great double-speed. Scomber’s pella got a similar treatment, and off to the lab I went. It took awhile to get that kick to play nice with the pells, whereas the hoover fit in right away. Et voila, or as Emeril would say, “Bam!”

Stems included: kick, perc, phutura.

VSTs used: Drumatic 4 by E-Phonic, Phutura by Phuturetone.

Several VSTs were harmed in the making of this, but they’re okay now and ready for more.
